It's a decent enough place to sleep. The internet conmection is terribly and the comforters are lumpy, but it was clean and the staff are helpful and friendly. It has kitchenettes of. Differing quality depending on which room you get, but the grocery store is next door, which is nice.

The Acorn Motel is a great place to stay if you are in Grande Cache, especially if you are there for the Canadian Death Race - it is only a short walk to the start/finish line. With friendly staff and clean rooms, this is my first choice for accommodation when I come to Grande Cache.
When we stayed at the Acorn Motel it was less than 100 dollars a night and a limited breakfast was included. The room was small but nice and had a fridge, stove, sink and microwave. I don't think you could find a better place for the price. The hotel and rooms are in need of some upkeep. For example, the security latch on our door was broken off which was a little concerning. With a little more attention to general maintenance this place would be 5 stars for the price.
